Electrical engineer turned EV builder turned founder. I came from nuclear infrastructure, taught myself to build electric vehicles from scratch, and turned that obsession into one of Cyprus' leading electric mobility companies.
Electrical engineer with a BEng and MSc from the University of Bath. Before entering the electric vehicle industry, I spent nearly a decade in safety-critical nuclear infrastructure — Lead Commissioning Engineer at Sellafield and Team Leader at EDF Energy's Hinkley Point C nuclear new-build.
That background shaped how I build: rigorous systems thinking, high-stakes fault diagnosis, and comfort operating inside tight regulatory constraints.
The APEVOLT V1 — a fully custom electric motorbike — was that thing. It led directly to co-founding DIAS Customs in 2022, one of Cyprus' leading dedicated EV companies. In 2022 I was awarded Disruptor Under 40 by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce.

Fully custom electric motorbike built from zero — frame, battery, drivetrain, and electronics all designed and assembled by hand. The build that directly led to founding DIAS Customs.

Vintage classic Mini fully restored and then converted to electric — officially type-approved by Cyprus' Ministry of Transport.
A custom Smart BMS being co-developed with Robo.com.cy — built around the real diagnostic gaps encountered across thousands of EV battery repairs.

Designed and built the custom battery pack and power supply for a student CubeSat mission on a high-altitude balloon — surviving below −60°C and near-vacuum pressure at the edge of the stratosphere.
The same architecture has powered multiple stratospheric missions.
